Hajian’s latest work has been much anticipated by many. He recently scored the music for Brad Furman’s feature film, The Infiltrator, which is set to be released in theaters on July 13th. This drug kingpin drama stars Bryan Cranston as federal agent Robert Mazur who goes undercover to infiltrate the drug trafficking network of famed kingpin Pablo Escobar. With the story being set in the eighties, Hajian has created a crisp, fresh soundtrack steeped in eighties synth that is the perfect accompaniment for this dark, edge of your seat crime thriller. You only have to listen to the theme song to know that this film will be a rollercoaster of a journey through the lives of Mazur and Escobar. If it’s true that a film is only as good at the music that drives the story along then The Infiltrator is already set to be a hit.
Paul Haslinger has become one of the most sought after composers in both television and film – but this didn’t happen without years of hard work and dedication to his craft. Haslinger first began to play music professionally in the eighties with the popular electronic music group Tangerine Dream. He toured extensively with the group throughout the late eighties and worked with them on music for films such as “Near Dark”, “Miracle Mile”, as well as the documentary film “Canyon Dreams”.
Jodie Foster left not a single detail out of her preparation to make her latest film, “Money Monster”, the absolute best that it could be. The film boasts an incredible cast of actors lead by George Clooney and Julia Roberts – which anyone knows is the perfect leading pair to make any film a hit. But Foster also put just as much thought and care in to the music for the film as she did the cast. She hand-picked film composer Dominic Lewis to take on the task of creating the perfect score for “Money Monster” – and he did. This comes as no surprise to anyone who is familiar with Lewis’ previous work.
